A Case of Hair Loss
A woman, age 45, came to see me and looked very sad. She
showed me her head, there were 3 five-cents-coin scalp with little hair or no
hair 秃头。She said that a whole bunch of hair
dropped off when she washed her hair. She said she was very worried as more
hair may drop off. She asked if I can help her and whether the hair could grew
back. I told her it was possible that the hair would grow back. It might take
about 2 ~3 months for the hair to grow back. Firstly I have to stop her
hair from dropping; secondly, to stimulate her hair growth.
I treated her with special instrument.... knocking all round the scalp, followed with massage of the whole head with special hair growth herbal lotion and acupuncture on the head. This is to activate the hair pores and to improve blood circulation. Besides this manual treatment, I also gave her herbal medicine to nourish her hair so as to prevent further hair loss and stimulate hair growth.
She came for eight sessions and after one month, she found that her hair did not drop further and her hair started to grow again. After three months, her hair was normal again.
There are quite a lot of people who have serious hair-drop problems especially in the forehead (for man) and on top of their head (for woman). Many women who are breastfeeding and months after child birth also suffer from hair loss. All these problems can be treated. Our method has proven to be very effective. Many of them told me that after the TCM treatment, they feel that their hair has more vitality (有活力)and also the hairs are stronger.

There was one student who had a very serious case of hair loss 全头秃头.
This young student who was 16 yrs old and was studying for his "O" level exam.
He was over-anxious about his coming exam, he hair loss was almost 90% left.
He came for hair treatments for about 4 to 5 months. To his amaze, his hair slowly
grew back. His parents were also very relieved and happy!
He was under our senior physician Cassandra Tan's care who also consoled him
that his hair would grow back. He came faithfully for hair treatments and also took

Hair Loss Case 2 全头秃头
There was another girl who was also 16 years old and she had lost almost 90% of her hair.
This girl was highly stressed over her volleyball competition and her "O" level examination.
